The residents of Blakehall Road, Carshalton held a street party on 29th April 2011, the day of the royal wedding. As you can see from the pictures, we had great fun!
There was plenty of food, drink and entertainment, including a fancy dress parade, street art, a quiz and a raffle with great prizes donated by local businesses, live music performed by residents, visits from the local press, fire department and police, and lots of games. And of course, it was a great opportunity for us all to meet our neighbours.
